In the past 2 years my life has changed dramatically. Instead of date nights with the hubby...I’m going on play dates. … From time to time, I do post many different events (like kayaking, tennis, dining out, movie nights, museum trips, etc...) though this is primarily a hiking group. NJ Sneakers has a "No Dogs/No Kids" policy.  I've found that dogs and kids tend to be problems on hikes as far as safety and distractions are concerned.  There are other groups that cater to pet owners/parents so if this is a big issue for you, then NJ Sneakers is not the group for you.
